The Academic/IQAC Cell of FDSM Aurangabad is a body within the college which is responsible for supporting the students in their academics and enhances the academic achievements of the students. The Academic cell provides the students with various opportunities to improve their academic, managerial and public speaking skills.
The time line for various academic activities is announced in the beginning of the semester as part of academic calendar prepared by IQAC Coordinator.

Course Registration
Departments announce the courses offered for the next semester in the end of current semester. Students shall follow the instructions as given by the IQAC/Academic cell in order to complete the registration on time.

Induction Programme
Conducts career awareness programme + screening test.

Course Plan
The subject faculty keep records of their teaching with the help of proper format so that, it help to review the syllabus and performance of the students timely.

Conduct Assignment Work
Two Assignment of each subject are distributed as per the schedule decided by the IQAC/Academic Cell during first and second term.

Conduct of Examination
In the First & Second term, we have conducted two Examinations as per the dates announced in the academic calendar. There can be change in the dates due to unexpected holidays. Usually the first internal examination is scheduled after completing minimum 50 % of teaching syllabus & Second internal examination is scheduled after completing minimum 80 % of teaching Syllabus.

Project Report Work
As per the University curriculum, In the First Term, we are having Mini Project & Inplant Training Report for first semester & third semester respectively. And in Second Term, we have Major Project Report for Fourth semester students.

Results and following activities – Overall
Performance of the students is analysis by the mentors/guide & prepare internal marks. There are four factors criteria for internal marks like Attendance, Presentation, Assignments & Internal Examinations. All the internal results are published in Notice board. Students are required to check the results on time.
